Green Mango Smoothie

GREEN MANGO SMOOTHIE:

1 cup frozen mangos

1/2 cup unfiltered apple juice

1/2 cup distilled water

1/2 frozen banana

a large handful or two spinach

raw honey to taste (approximately a tablespoon)

Blend the spinach, apple juice and distilled water until fairly smooth.  Add the mangoes, banana and honey.  Blend until smooth.  Enjoy!

  1. Definitely going to try this one. I know you say use a frozen banana but can I just add ice. Why unfiltered apple juice?

    • yes, you can just add ice…experiment and see what you like best. i use frozen banana because it makes the smoothie “smooth” and creamy. unfiltered apple juice because if you don’t have a juicer, you want to keep the apple juice as close to pure as possible. the less processed the better!
