Nutter Butter Smoothie

This recipe serves as a great base.  It can be vanilla by omitting the nut butter and adding vanilla and cinnamon or a strawberry n cream by omitting the nut butter and adding strawberries.  The banana makes the smoothie creamy much like a shake and should be frozen.  Avocado also serves as a creamy, healthy option.

NUTTER BUTTER SMOOTHIE:

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 1/2 Tbsp nut or seed butter (sunflower, almond, cashew, etc.)

1/2 frozen banana

a large handful or more of spinach

3 soaked & pitted dates

a few cubes of ice

Start by blending the almond milk and spinach until almost smooth, add the dates, blend again.  Add the nut butter and blend a little more.  Finally add the banana & ice and blend until smooth.  Enjoy
